Available Pom Puppies
All available puppies come with AKC registration papers, two to three shots depending on their age and multiple wormings. We take all puppies to our vet for a thorough examination and declaration of health which we provide you with upon sale. Our puppies are not available to go to their new home until they are at least 8 weeks old. Please do not ask to bring your puppy home earlier as it is against California State law to release sold puppies before that. Puppies are started on potty training on newspaper at 5 weeks old.

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit will hold your new pom baby until it’s time to go home with you. All of our Pomeranian puppies are sent to their new homes free of fleas and ticks with a puppy starter pack. If you plan on keeping your pom as an outdoor pet, please find another breeder as we believe poms do not do well solely outdoors. If you are ever unable to keep a Pomeranian produced by SoCal Poms we ask that you return the dog to us, as we will always see them as our babies.

Why are our Puppies so valuable?

People often ask me why our puppies are so expensive. I love this question (no sarcasm)! There are a lot of costs involved in raising happy, healthy little bundles of fur. The dogs we breed to produce our puppies are not inexpensive dogs. Great breeding stock is an investment. We have paid a lot of money for our Mom and Dad poms, sometimes thousands of dollars. We pay so much because any good breeder will not breed a seriously flawed dog.

We look for high quality that meets the breed standard and all of our dogs are AKC registered. Although we have a wonderful veterinarian, all of our dogs and puppies get routine vet care including advantage to ward of flees and ticks, shots, vitamins and they also get wormed. Veterinarian care is not cheap, even though our vet is reasonably priced, it is still an expense. We feed our dogs and puppies high quality food. Dogs that are fed low grade food are not as healthy and this affects their pups. Until you have raised a litter of dogs you will never know how much work they are. We love what we do, but it is WORK! First thing in the morning we are both putting our dogs out to play and picking up dog poop. We spend at least an hour EVERY morning cleaning up after our dogs and spending time ensuring they are getting proper exercise and love, of course. This care continues throughout the day until bedtime.
When we have puppies we spend a lot of time
wiping rear-ends, preparing food,
socializing and cleaning pens. It is definitely
an investment, but this pays off in the end
for those who purchase our babies. We also
make sure everyone gets toys and treats.
ALL DOGS NEED TOYS AND TREATS!
Would you have a child without toys and the
occasional piece of candy? No. So like every
thing in life you get what you pay for.
